On May 10th, 2018, Tech expert Adam Pittman shared tips to create a strong password to keep your information safe. The most common password, unbelievably, is Password 123. Passwords that are dictionary words can be attacked at a rate of up to 10,000 tries per minute. leaving your information insecure. A strong password should not be a dictionary word, should include one number and should contain one special character.
Treat your password like your toothbrush. Do not share it with anyone and replace it every three months. If you need assistance remembering your password you can store them in a password vault.
Adam Pittman's last important tip is to not use the same password for multiple sites. If your password is hacked this leaves all information vulnerable.
